• More than 13 years of experience working in a laboratory as Medical Technologist. 
• Outstanding patient communication skills. 
• Proficiency in blood collection by venipuncture, capillary puncture and arterial 
puncture. 
• Responsible in transporting specimen from collection areas to the different sections of 
the laboratory. 
• Ability to handle all specimens with proper care including proper identification,

• Perform testing in the areas of Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, Serology 
and Immunology, Microbiology, Clinical Microscopy and Parasitology. 
• Collects, prepares and performs routine and complex chemical, immunologic, 
microscopic, and bacteriological test within the scope of Laboratory Procedures 
and Policies. 
• Collect specimen for diagnostic test by venipuncture, capillary puncture and arterial 
puncture. 
• Responsible for providing high quality laboratory service, accuracy, interpretation and 
reporting of all test results according to established departmental policies and 
procedures. 
• Responsible for maintaining laboratory equipment appropriately by performing 
calibration, daily control, scheduled maintenance and quality assurance. 
• Refer problems to appropriate parties and document all corrective measures and 
actions undertaken in the Laboratory. 
• Identify unusual results and correlate laboratory data with patient diagnosis. Review 
and report unusual results and relay them to attending physician. 
• Provide quality donor care before, during and after phlebotomy. Perform compatibility 
testing of blood for transfusion. Check and issue blood units for transfusion. 
• Handle all specimens with proper care including proper identification, labelling and 
proper container of blood and other body fluids. 
• Perform simple trouble shooting of equipments if necessary and do some adjustments 
if needed. 
• Upgrade and updates knowledge and skills by joining and attending seminars, 
lectures, workshops and trainings. 
• Responsible for providing feedback on technical matters and new procedures and 
making specific recommendations to the department head to ensure quality of 
service. 
• Responsible in fixing and staining PAPs smear and Fine Needle Aspiration Biopsy. 
• Receiving anatomical specimens, labelling and logging them on the log books for 
filling and proper storage. 
• Responsible in doing monthly inventory and ordering of stocks needed in the 
laboratory. 
• Responsible in supervising and training new staff.
