Penang Development Corporation (PDC) expects to
rake in a revenue of RM484 million following the
sale of 99 hectares of land in Batu Kawan to Aspen
Group Holdings Sdn Bhd. Penang Chief Minister Lim
Guan Eng said, the land, sold at RM45 per sq ft,
would be developed into the Aspen Vision City, a
flagship project comprising regional integrated
shopping mall, mixed residence, offices, central
park, international schools and an integrated
central transportation hub for Seberang Prai.
The Kuala Lumpur Tin Market (KLTM) fell by US$300
to close at US$21,550 a tonne today on technical
correction, dealers said.As a result, the premium
between the KLTM and the LME widened to US$580
per tonne from US$565 per tonne on Tuesday.
Affin Investment Bank has reiterated its neutral stance
on the property sector amid the weaker forecast for
property sales next year.
