Malayan Banking Bhd (Maybank) aims to grow bigger in the
Association of South-East Asian Nations (Asean) but has no
plans for merger and acquistion (M&A) at the moment. Its
group president/chief executive officer, Datuk Abdul Farid
Alias, said the group would grow organically as right now there
were no real M&A opportunities that made sense to the bank.
