Malayan Banking Bhd (Maybank) aims to grow bigger in the
Association of South-East Asian Nations (Asean) but has no
plans for merger and acquistion (M&A) at the moment. Its
group president/chief executive officer, Datuk Abdul Farid
Alias, said the group would grow organically as right now there
were no real M&A opportunities that made sense to the bank.
Kenanga Investment Bank Bhd, which today launched its digital
wealth management product "KenWRAP", aims to attract up to
2,000 financial planners into the platform within 3-5 years.
