Master Degree Job: “Cost Management in the
Dredging Operations of Construction Projects”. The
target of the present study was to determine the Cost
management plan in the dredging operations of
construction projects. The theoretical context of the
variable was mainly based on the principles of Project
Management Institute (PMI), through of the Fundament
Guide of the Projects Management (PMBOK ®,
2008).The methodology was a descriptive study, so, its
design was the field and the modality was feasible,
using the observation through a survey instrument,
which consisted of 59 items represented by questions
with alternative answers which was submitted to
validation by 05 experts in the field of Cost
management, for 10 managers or dredging project
bosses at INC company, having a reliability of 0.80. The
results of the data were developed through statistical
analysis, which was able to analyze the use of cost
estimates, evaluate the material costs and services,
equipment, labor and indirect costs that are used in
dredging operations, Identify the kind of dredges in
Venezuela and analyze the legal considerations and the
standards that govern the procedures of these costs.
Besides, it presented a cost management plan in the
dredging operations of construction projects.
