2. London is the one
of the biggest cities
of the UK.
It is situated in the
South-Est part of the
Country and it is Capital.
3. Westminster area:
• Westminster Palace The House of Parliament.
• Big Ben The most famous clock in the world.
• Westminster Abbey The biggest cattolic church of the city.
• Buckingham Palace The official residence of the British Monarchy.
4. On the Thames River there
are two important bridges:
• Tower Bridge.
• London Bridge.
5. London Eye is the most touristic attraction of the city. It is a ferry
wheel more than 100 meters high where you can see all the city.
6. The city offers also some museums
like British Museum, the Natural
History Museum, the National
Gallery and the Science Museum.
7. Around the city there are some great parks like
Hyde Park, Regent’s Park and St. James Park.

11. Troisième jour:
On va marcher sur les pont Tower
Bridge et London Bridge;
Après on va visiter London Eye pour voir
toute la ville;
Enfin visite du Turnham Green.

18. Il discorso del generale de Gaulle non fu
ascoltato e nemmeno registrato, ma fu
stampato sui giornali il giorno seguente: è il
testo fondatore della Resistenza francese.
