2. The marine penguins
• All marine animals are very beautiful, but I like the penguins
because they are very nice.
• They have very amazing abilities: they can swim very fast.
3. How are the penguins born?
- Penguins are birds, so they lay eggs.
- The eggs remain a few days inside the mother, for a very short
time. After that, they mature going outside the mother's womb.
4. Where do penguins live?
- Penguins only live in the southern hemisphere.
- Some species live near the equator and generally any
species can change its distribution and migrate further
north when not in breeding season.
5. What do the penguins eat?
• The main food sources for penguins include krill,
small fish, and crustaceans.
• Many penguin species prefer to hunt near the
shoreline.
