Graduating student from Queen’s University, Belfast with a wide range of personal and
professional skills. My main goal is to gain experience in the workplace by being enthusiastic
and diligent in my tasks. I specialise in I.T work, archaeology and heritage management
which includes the surveying and conservation of historic buildings and landscapes.

• Very comfortable with matters relating to I.T. and computer management (MS Word,
Excel, PowerPoint, databases) with a specialisation in GIS (Geographical information
systems) (i.e. Arcmap) and some experience with AutoCAD
• Building Surveying and assessment particularly in old or ancient structures through
use of technology such as laser measures, photogrammetry and laser scanners.
• Experience in landscape surveying using instruments such as handheld GPS systems,
theodolite, GNSS and terrestrial laser scanning.
• Experienced with answering queries over the telephone and in person.
• Archaeological skills in surveying and excavation from multiple projects including
Glendalough, Crete, Rathnadrinna and Ballynoe Stone Circle.

• Experience with leading and guiding others as a trips and tours officer in a college
society.
• Helping others by taking part in regular study groups and seminars.
• Fluent in English and Irish with basic French.

Achievements and Interests
• Interested in the discipline of Archaeology. Was elected to be part of the 2013/2014
society committee as trips and tours officer.
• As part of the position in the society was responsible for taking a group of 30 students
on an education trip to Lisbon in January 2014 for one week. Other responsibilities
under the society included organising seminars, management of society funds and
fund raising.
• Worked in Carlow museum. Responsible for guiding visitors through the exhibition.
• Completed a GIS-based project relating to the heritage management of Mount
Stewart; a historic house and Garden owned by the National Trust.
• Heritage Management and the conservation of old buildings. Wrote a thesis on St.
Laserian’s Cathedral and its conservation history.
• Charity work: Was involved with the John Paul II awards in Carlow in 2010 and was
awarded the bronze medal. The awards focuses on being active in the local
community through volunteer work. Also currently taking part in soup runs around
Dublin
