I am a qualified Social Worker with over 25 years’ worth of experience within the Care
Sector. My registration is up to date with the HCPC (SW 50612)
My last 9 years have been spent within the private sector in Residential Care at Director
Level within Adult Services.
I need to be stretched within my working career and I am always looking to push myself
to achieve higher standards, exceeding and going above expectations.
I am a strong leader and use my social work skills to their best effect. I have exceptional
communication and interpersonal skills. I enjoy attention to detail and I am a finisher who
enjoys creating and developing new innovative ways of working with people and
effecting positive influence and changes.

person centred care which I believe strongly influences change and creates inspiring
teams and work places.
Specialisms
I have worked with numerous specialisms over the past 25 years. I am passionate about
working with vulnerable adults and I hold a special interest in Adults with Dementia and
Learning Disabilities. I have worked extensively with people with very complex needs
and challenging behaviours.
I can give advice and support for looking at innovative ways of supporting and
developing services which meet the needs of these people.
I have had extensive experience on designing and developing new services and enjoy
project managing all elements of new services.
Quality Assurance Audits
A thorough audit of the care home which can cover compliance with CQC Regulations
and Outcomes, care plans, risk assessments, including facilitating Person Centred Care,
Personalisation of Care, Safeguarding Adults, Infection Control, Medication, Nutrition
and Premises.
A detailed report will provide you with recommendations on areas that may benefit
from improvement, outline any areas where there is a shortfall in compliance and a plan
of action for achieving best results

Management & Staff
Primrose Care Consultancy provides help and support with all aspects of recruiting and
training staff and managers. A special focus on supervision and mentoring sessions with
managers and staff to help develop knowledge, skills and confidence within their roles
to encourage growth and professional development.
3. Interim Management
Primrose Care Consultancy can provide short term support at either strategic or
operational management level to assist through periods of change or times of difficulty
Help and support can be given when services have fallen below the required regulatory
outcomes. Providing interim management to assist in implementing changes,
improvements or simply covering sickness or periods of annual leave.
Crisis Management
Primrose Care Consultancy provide a crisis management service which offers support
and advice through difficult times.
Complaints Investigations
Help with complaints or safe guarding incidents received in care homes whether from a
resident, relative, member of staff or healthcare professionals. Help and support to
resolve the situation satisfactorily by investigating, speaking to the complainant,
providing support and formulating appropriate responses. With particularly complex or
sensitive complains an external investigation can often carry more credibility.
Specialist Social Work Support
Assessments, planning transitions and admissions. Creation of Care Plan and Risk
Assessments, including creation of template to roll out across services. Assessing and
developing care pathways for all new admissions. Private case management, expert
reports for court proceedings or second opinion reports.
Help can be given with PR & Marketing to help with issues with occupancy levels.
Trouble shooting and turning round poor reputation, networking and building effective
professional relationships such as local social workers, care managers and
commissioners.
Facilitating reviews with Care Managers to improve fee structures and ensuring care
packages meet individual’s needs and the fees reflect this. Looking to develop services
into being able to meet the needs of Complex individuals which creates specialisms and
builds credibility and skill sets.
