2. Ana and José Murillo are from Siquirres. They attend Monteverde School
and they love nature.
3. Their parents taught them to take care of nature, and they help at home with
this task.
4. However... They were also costumed to rivers covered with garbage. A
common landscape outside their house.
5. Occasionally, some friends of them didn't attend to classes because they
drank water from wells and got sick.
6. On vacations, the siblings went to visit Cahuita beach. They enjoyed the
sea and thought if there was something they could do to preserve water.
7. They talked about the benefits of preserving water in their classrooms,
and asked teachers, their parents and community members for advice
● Drinkable
water.
● Rivers where
we can swim
and play.
● Less diseases.
8. Ana and José started to pick up garbage, convince their parents to use
biodegradable products gradually and to change their community
9. Water is life...After all, if we can do the difference in our community... This
was all worth the trouble... Can you imagine if all of us do the same?...
