year within a new concept of beauty.

public of the whole world. In the 1960s it was present in some
studio of famous writers as Montanelli, Pasolini and Leonard
Cohen.
12. The creation of Adriano Olivetti was awarded by important
institutions as Illinois institute of technology and The moma of New
York. Today is possible to find lettera 22 in the design collection.

renowned venetian architect

design the first Olivetti
showroom.
15. Opened in 1958 in Venice, Scarpa transformed the space provided
to him from a dark alley into an open jewel box. The resulting
showroom, is an outstanding artwork used as a display space for
Olivetti products.
16. The space was used for decades by Olivetti before changing
owners. However, in 2011 Scarpa’s Olivetti Showroom re-emerged
once again as an historical building, where Scarpa’s design and
Olivetti’s authentic typewriters have become a museum.
