As we are a team, we think it’s obvious that to work to the best of all our
abilities, all the main important decisions are made together. We each have
individual qualities that brings something different to our work and therefore
we are likely to have a better outcome overall.
Important decisions that we will make together include: designing and
drawing out the storyboard to how we want our trailer; the script; choosing
our characters; deciding on the music as we feel this is a key aspect to any
horror film; the main masthead typography for the title of the film, overall
editing and how clips are put together; the video diaries on set as we will all
be involved. We also all decided on the job roles together, as we could suggest
what task we would work best on individually and what tasks in particular we
would enjoy to do, as everyone has preferences.

Masthead Typography
With Elise’s granddads house being the main location for our trailer it is useful
that she plans when the house is available for filming so that she can arrange
when the location will be free for filming.
She is also is extremely organised, which especially helps with getting the shot list
complete and giving the group a detailed plan of what needs to happen on filming
days.
Her media GCSE means that she has a good understanding of what type of
masthead would be suitable as well as researching what our target audience
would like from a magazine/poster.
Elise will be equally involved in the decision making of the work in order to come
to a final decision that everyone agrees on.

been assigned to complete the shot list for the trailer and in order to express
his creative side he will be designing the layout for the magazine, and poster.
Matt also enjoys editing, and has all the software needed at home so if he
wants then he can also complete it out of lesson time and bring in for feedback
from the group.
Matt will be equally involved in the decision making of the work in order to
come to a final decision that everyone agrees on.

Kristina has been allocated the role of creating job roles for the group as she
is keen on being organized in order to keep work up to date and maintain
organization throughout the process of all tasks.
She also will research how other films have been marketed and advertised and
therefore how we should advertise our own trailer. Kristina is ideal for this
role as she has a wide knowledge of horror films, and therefore what the best
films are to research.
Kristina will be equally involved in the decision making of the work in order to
come to a final decision that everyone agrees on.
6. Abbie
Personal Job Roles;
Production Companies
Permission Contracts
Mise-en-scene
Story Board
As Abbie wants to go into the media industry after finishing school so
researching different production companies will help develop her knowledge
of the industry, as well as learning how to write permission contracts. This
means she will be responsible for forming the permission slips for actors and
location owners, especially as her developed writing skills will allow her to
include the right content needed for the slip.
Abbie is also the best artist out the group and her Art GCSE will be helpful in
giving an accurate representation of what each stage will be like, helping us
when we are on set filming.
Abbie will be equally involved in the decision making of the work in order to
come to a final decision that everyone agrees on.
