This document outlines the aims, devices, software, properties, and timeline of a human machine interface project involving reading data from various programmable logic controllers and remote terminal units and displaying that information through graphics on an HMI. The project began in June 2018 and is ongoing, with aims to access Siemens, TBox, Schneider, Weintek, and Beijer HMIs remotely using VNC and integrate data from Siemens, Allen-Bradley, and Schneider devices while utilizing security, data transfer, sampling, logging, library, and server properties and functions in the Easy Builder, H-Designer, and TIA Portal software.
