2. NUMCAST is using a new standard protocol.
It is an hardware protocol talking directly with the device’s
processor.
Only computer/ tablet with windows 8.1 (or more) and tablet with
android 4.2 (or more) get the necessary operating system to handle
this protocol.
BUT even if the computer or tablet gets one of those operating
systems it is not 100% sure that the NUMCAST will be compatible.
THE COMPATIBILITY WILL DEPEND ON UPDATED DRIVERS AND
PRESENCE OF A MODERN PROCESSOR .

3. WINDOWS 8.1
To verify the compatibility on a windows 8.1 computer,
First it is very important that your computer get the last
updated driver concerning network and display! A
windows update should be run to verify this point.

8. ANDROID 4.2
To know your android version go to setup / parameters.

To verify that your android 4.2 device is compatible with the
NUMCAST, follow this process :
- Go to the setup/configuration page.
- Select the display area.
- Verify that a section called “wireless display” , “screen cast” , “all
share cast”… is available.
Some tablet Manufacturers will implement the wireless display
protocol on actual tablet models only from android 4.3 , some
other will never do it on old tablets.

- iPad 2 , iPhone 4/5 will need to use an Apple TV
- Windows 7, 8 devices can use specific software solution
based on a software protocol (the computer screen is
converted to a video signal and transferred to video receiver
box).
Those solutions are not as fast or as precise (lowest definition)
as a NUMCAST solution but may be the only existing solution
for such devices.
11. - For NON ROOTED Android device before 4.2 or 4.2 without
“wireless display“ option do not support Wireless MIRRORING!
A protocol called DLNA will permit on all of those devices
through an app or software to wirelessly display images, videos…
