Task 1 - Read the text carefully.
Mary’s family
Caroline is ten years old. She is from California. Her hair is
long and brown. She has got brown eyes. She has got a cat and
a dog. Their names are Toby and Basted. Toby, the dog has got
a small house in the garden. Caroline’s cat, Basted is 3 years
old.
Caroline’s mother is Jessica. She is a teacher. She’s
thirty-seven years old. Her husband is Jonathan. He is thirty-
nine. He’s a taxi driver. He has got brown hair and blue
eyes. Jessica’s hair is blonde and her eyes are brown. They
have got three children Caroline, Jhon and Pedro.
John is six and Pedro is twelve years old. The children are
pupils. Jonathan’s hair is blonde, Pedro’s hair is brown. The
boys have got blue eyes.
Jessica hasn’t got a pet. She has a friend. Her name is
Christine. Jonathan has got a horse. Its name is Lightning.
Jonathan’s friends
are bus drivers. They are Tulio, Carlos and Juan.
Pedro’s pet is a hamster. Its name is Little. She is so small.
John has got a goldfish. Its name’s Goldie. Pedro and
Johnhave got four friends. Pedro’s friends are James and
Daniel. Brian and Adam are Sean’s friends. Caroline’s friends
are Diana and April.

I'm Duvier Felipe Ceballos Bolivar. I am 32 years old and is from El Cerrito –
Valle del Cauca. My hair brown. I have got two dogs. Their names are Toby and
´Nieves. Toby, the dog has got a small house in the garden. Nieves is 5 years
old and is a frespuder.
My mother is Dora Alba Bolivar. She is the rector of a school. She’s 58
years old. My father is Luis Fernando Ceballos. He is 60 years old. He’s a teacher
of primary. He has got brown hair and black. My mother is blonde and her
eyes are brown. We are five brothers Luis Angel, Andrey, Emilia, Dora Estella
and my.
Luis Angel is the elder brother, he is 38 years old and Dorita is the younger
brother, she is 25 years old; only I live in the paternal house, My brothers are
parents of four beautiful girls, Ana Lucia, Sara Lucia, Renata y Victoria. They
are the adoration of the family.
My brother Andrey is a doctor and he is 34 years old. He lives in Chile with his
wife Viviana and his two daughters Sara and Ana. Emilia is an actress, lives in
Bogota and has no children.
In our family we are very close and we love very much.
