2. Human Happiness Index :
It is the global indicator of progress, which measures both sustainable
economy and social development, while protecting the environment and
culture. It demonstrated the nation that money doesn’t equal happiness, and
that material progress was not the most important contributor to well being is
an alteration of the Human Development Index as it adopts the same
statistical aggregation method. It aims to measure the happiness of countries
people.

30. Conclusion
People responded to questions about life satisfaction and satisfaction with various life
domains, as well as to a memory recall measure of good and bad events in their lives.
While the mean rating of general life satisfaction was slightly negative, the mean ratings
of satisfaction with specific domains were positive.
● The conclusion is that the slum dwellers of Vasant kunj generally experience a
lower sense of life satisfaction than other comparison groups, but are more
satisfied than one might expect.
● At Ration Shops they get rice and wheat on ease,but no sugar.
● They get benifits on government policies but sometimes middleman and
government officials make their margin in between and all the benifits are not
provided to the people.
● Rather than sending their girl child to school,they are forcing them to be
homemakers,maids,beggars.
