serious secondary complications including death.

If the Pt is Normothermic Upon arrival in the ED & in
Cardiopulmonary arrest or Asystole, serious thought
should be given to discontinuing resuscitation efforts
because recovery without profound neurologic
complications is rare.

In case of Drowning C-Spine injury is rare(5%); unless h/o divining, fall from height or Motorized vehicle crash.
IN ED: pt is hypothermic, admisnistraed warmed Isotinic i/v Fluied; No C-Spine injury; No CT Scan
