quality and availability of healthcare
for all residents living in Southwest
Saskatchewan

4. Did you know?
The Foundation has collected &
distributed in excess of $8.5Million
since 1999:
- $8.2Million to equipment purchases
and
- $300,000 to educational scholarships to
healthcare providers
6. Need a place to stay?
The Dr Noble Irwin Regional Healthcare Foundation
owns and operates Habitat
for
Healthcare /Rotary House.
This facility is located at 2051 Saskatchewan Drive in
Swift Current and offers 6 hospice style rooms for you
to stay – while you are in the City if you are here
dealing with “health related” issues.

7. Contributions made in 2011:
Through our “Lens Implant” program, $43,000 was
contributed to a new High Definition Microscope used
to support Cataract Surgeries
Through our “In Memorial” program, $5,500 was
contributed to a new blanket warmer used in the
Palliser Regional Care Center
In partnership with the Shaunavon District Health
Authority, a new Computed Radiography Unit has
been installed at the Shaunavon Hospital & Care
Center
9. More 2011 Contributions
In partnership with the Leader & District Health
Authority, a new Computed Radiography Unit has
been installed at the Leader Primary Health Care
Center
In partnership with the Hodgeville Business Assoc., a
new Phlebotomy Chair has been installed at the
Hodgeville Health Center
Ambulance services in Frontier & Val Marie received
funding to upgrade Defibrillator equipment in their
regional ambulances
11. Still more 2011 contributions:
In partnership with the Greek Orthodox Community
of Swift Current (through their “Night out in Greece”
fund raiser):
(2) Electronic Pulse Oximeters
(5) Electric Sensor Beds &
(4) Broda Chairs
have been ordered for the Cypress Regional Hospital
and the Swift Current Care Center
13. How can you help?
Support any one or more of the Foundation’s fundraising
events and/or programs (ScotiaBank Awards GALA; RBC-
DS Golf Tournament; RadioThon)
Obtain and use a Husky Rebate card
Make a “one time” gift of cash or property
Make “regular” Annual or Monthly contributions (can be
automated if you prefer)
Transfer assets – stocks, bonds, property
Plan a gift – plan to make a contribution/gift through your
financial, succession plan and/or your estate

15. How will it be used:
Each and every year, Cypress Health Region will
identify needed equipment in all of their regionally
operated facilities
The Dr. Noble Irwin Regional Healthcare Foundation
will work very closely with CHR to determine how and
where support is most needed
The Foundation will use gathered funds to support
those identified needs
