Dr. Ganesh Bhokare gave a guest lecture on signal processing at Vidyalankar Institute of Technology on October 11, 2014. The lecture covered digital signal processing and its applications, fundamentals of signals and systems, statistical signal processing, and state-of-the-art algorithm development in research and industries. Over 80 students, staff, and faculty attended the seminar, which provided valuable knowledge about developments in the field of signal processing and its uses for future student projects.

 Dr. Ganesh Bhokare, the speaker of the day, has a PHD in Electronic
Communication from IIT Bombay. He started the lecture with small overview
of the topics which were to be discussed.
 The topics covered by Dr. Bhokare were:
 DSP (Digital Signal Processing) and its applications.
 Fundamentals of:
 Signals and systems.
 Statistical Signal Processing – Random Variable and Processes.
 State of the Art Algorithm Development in Research and industries and
their applications, etc.
 The Seminar bestowed upon us a lucrative sense of knowledge and
