Conclusion Activity: Group
analysis in Preparation for
Final Unit Project
Once you have completed these
learning activities, break up into
groups of four and discuss how you
each answered these questions and
what you learned from these
activities. What should a society do
for its people and what is the best
way it should be run? Why is being
a part of a society or helping to run
a society so important to our
existence as a species?
Additionally, discuss how these
activities connect to what we have
learned so far about human nature
and civilized society in the nine
6. chapters of Lord of the Flies we
have read so far. Come to an
agreement about how you think an
ideal society should be run and
what kinds of things you would
like to see in an ideal society. Write
down your ideas for your ideal
society as well as what roles each
group member would play in this
society and how your society
would resolve disagreements and
issues. Your responses and
discussion will help prepare you for
your final project for this unit
following our completion of the
novel Lord of the Flies.
