1.The first evaluation I took this course was the Lifestyle assessment. On this assessment I scored a 90.6, which was an excellent score and
indicated that I was engaging in behaviors and attitudes that significantly contribute to a healthy lifestyle. I am going to break down my score on
regards to the six dimensions of wellness. On the Physical Assessment I did exceptional, I scored 100/100, and almost always did what each of the
ten statements said, so I had great physical wellness. On the Social Wellness Assessment, I scored an 79/100, lacking in the statements five, eight,
and ten, the main issue being that I am not involved in my community at all, so I scored all right on Social wellness. On the Spiritual Wellness part,
I scored 97/100, scoring lower on statement 8, but overall, I was very spiritually well. On Emotional Wellness I scored 87/100, lacking on statement
five, six, and eight, but I think Emotional was one of my weaker wellnesses. On Intellectual wellness I scored 90/100, weak on statements three and
six, but I was still relatively strong in my intellectual wellness. On Environmental I scored 84/100, scoring less on statement one, five, seven, and nine.
I think out of all the dimensions of wellness, personally my weakest one is definitely Social, not only does the score show it, but my everyday life also
used to show it. Some of my social downfalls were that I was not outgoing, I had a hard time making friends, and I just generally didn't like having
conversations with people I wasn't really close with. Despite my scores, I think my strongest wellness was Spiritual wellness, because I knew my
values and beliefs very well, and I lived by them every day. The dietary evaluation really helped my Physical Wellness by making me more aware of
the good things I was eating that were contributing to health, as well as the bad things I was eating that were ruing my health. The stressors
assignment really improved my Social wellness, and helped me to converse more; I stopped stressing about what people thought of me. Wellness

Speech to Explain: Self Evaluation
For this speech I choose to have my topic be something I have a strong personal connection to which was Rave culture, its history and practices.
Choosing this to be my topic of choice I was able to be motivated in researching it and I believe my genuine interest in the topic showed in my
presentation. In this self–eval I will be discussing the structure and style along with what I am taking away from this speech.
First, I will be talking about the structure of my speech. When doing a speech to explain, like any other speech it's important to have a clear and
organized pattern. Essentially when creating my outline for the speech I had made sure to have a clear and engaging intro and hook, meant to clearly
state my theme and then jump into the topic. Unfortunately when presenting the speech I was unable to present my introduction as I would have liked
and forgot to even mention my theme. I was not very effective in my introduction but knowing so at my conclusion I was sure to clearly state my
theme. However,I believe my concluding sentence could have been more clear. To improve I should in the future reinstate my topics and go over key
points and leave the audience with psychological closure rather than abruptly saying "that was all, thank you".

Self Evaluation Analysis
Before I went in to the evaluation, I wanted to collect my thoughts about how I thought I had been performing for the week. I had not received
much feedback on how I had been doing and all of it had been positive. On several occasions, I had been told, "good observation" or, "I was hoping
you would pick up on that". During one instance, an OT was asking me how I would modify a child's goals based on his progress, and I answered
based on my knowledge that I have gathered through LEND, the OT program and my personal experience. The OT I was speaking with and the two
OTs who overheard were impressed with my response and commented that I was ahead of some of the other level I students they have had before.

After a lot of theory, research and classroom learning, it was great to be in a clinic setting applying some of the knowledge I have gathered. As I
mentioned above, I am going to focus on assessment administration and documentation. I take a long time to write up case studies and assessments

When we do participate in peer reviews and reflections I make sure I do not rush my work and am careful to respond in sufficient time. In the
Official SCSU English Dept. Goals they have also listed a section entitled The Rest. "The Rest: Regular preparation and participation (includes
timeliness, effort, improvement, participation in class discussion), peer support, surprise quizzes: 15%", I feel that as a student in English 112 I
have regularly participated in class, have offered peer support and advice, and have done very well on the surprise quizzes we've had. Peer editing

so having a specific day to read and comment on one another's writing in detail has truly helped me formulate better essays overall. It has helped me

Self–Evaluation As a writer I can feel myself improving, but there is still a lot of work to be done. I used to hate writing because it was not one of

What I can do to change this behavior I have was to first acknowledge that I had it. After admitting it I can try and realize what I am doing before I let

Our two potential groups right now are the Humane Society and Sierra Club, who we are hoping to connect with to create a project for Meatless

When I look back to rough days they were generally caused because I would blame an alternative to myself. For example, in my business 100
project we had one member who would not help. I was frustrated and attributed him for our poor mark. I now know I should have fired him and split
up his work with the rest of the team instead of leaving it to last minute. I should have taken control of my own fate and reasoned with the emotions I

attributes and skills, which are based on two group projects and three presentations, that they are definitely important in a group member. They are time

Now that I have completed the Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth course Crafting the Essay, I feel I have tremendously grown as a
writer. Even after submitting the first assignment, I looked back at a position paper I wrote for school that I received an A+ on, yet I saw several
flaws I wished I had changed.

If I stutter whatsoever or blatantly recognize a fault in my piece, I change it immediately. I also wish I had less work outside of the course (such as
schoolwork, housework, social events, etc.) so I could have spent more time on my pieces for it. Some of my pieces were started only a few days
before the assignment was due, and I wished I had had more time to edit and proofread. I have gained many insights I have gained about
descriptive and narrative writing over this course. The one that I will take the most away from the course is my realization of my own tone and
voice that I possess in my pieces and how to apply them in a narrative. I have also learned how to develop a tone and voice for others when I am

This paper seemed very easy to me while I was writing it. After reading the response on the rough draft, I have realized that I need to spend more
time proofreading and editing my papers. I thought I did very well on this paper but I was wrong. It seems like every time something seems very
easy, I usually get a poor grade on it. After viewing the tips that were left on mypaper I have found out that I need to work on many things. Some of
these things include the length of my paragraphs, repetitive use of one specific word, adding more personal experiences into my writing, and organizing

I have discovered some interesting things I have noticed in myself before taking this course. For example, my learning style I have noticed is the visual
learning style.
With this, I prefer to see and read information to full gain comprehension. If I forget the data, or not clearly understand it the first time read, I have
the option of reading it over. I do not always trust myself to absorb all information the first time around. I take a lot of notes to look at. Notes help me
remember even though I may not read the again, I can refer to them in my mind after writing them down. I am not sure if just anyone reading them
would get anything out of it, but at least I know what they mean.
I like to take my time with material, but am not always given the allotted time to do so. I also like to keep a written list of things to do to refer to. I
am comfortable with my learning style, accepted it as my very own. I am not sure if changing it this late in life is such a good idea. I have got by this
far, it must work out for me.
I have identified my personality style as being extroverted, one who becomes easily energized by others, and outwardly expressing thoughts as long
