One of the leading tire companies in the world - Bridgestone Tire Co. - was founded
in 1931 by Shojiro Ishibashi. When Japan's automobile industry grew, The
Bridgestone Group expanded its business and become largest tire manufacturer in
Japan. Then, the company not only expanded overseas but acquired The Firestone
Tire & Rubber Company in 1988 - a longstanding and well-known corporation . This
transformed Bridgestone into one of the world's largest companies which has
products are sold in over 150 nations around the world.
Bridgestone- Producing Tires Industry
Nowadays, Bridgestone has three main product groups suitable for needs and using
purposes of customers are consumer tires, commercial tires and industrial and
argricultural tires.
_Consumer tires is a product line with tires for passenger cars, commercial
cars, and speciality cars like Potenza, Turanza, Ecopia, B-Series and Dueler.
_ Commercial tires provide products for buses, vans, light trucks and heavy
trucks.
_ Industrial and Argricultural tires are the tires used on construction machinery,
aircrafts, and other highly specialized equipment must operate under extreme
conditions.
Bridgestone Corporation attends two industries: distribution industry and repair
industry. This company provides tires for intermediates like retailers, centers or
agencies. Besides, Bridgestone also directly sell for customers who need or have
