2. A brief
NU was established on October 13, 2009 vide Ordinance No. 4 of
the Government of Rajasthan. Subsequently under Rajasthan
Gazette Notification No. F.(11) Vidhi/2/2010 Dated April 04, 2010
THE NIIT UNIVERSITY, NEEMRANA (ALWAR) ACT, 2010 (Act No. 5
of 2010) was passed by the Legislative Assembly of GOR.

6. M.Sc
The NU M.Sc Computer Science Programme requires a student to complete
175-178 credits in four academic years constituting eight semesters.
Eligibility Criteria
≥60% marks or equivalent in Class X in five subjects (Compulsory subjects -
English, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies.
≥60% marks in Class XII in five subjects (Compulsory subjects - Physics,
Chemistry & Biology (PCB) & English.
≥60% marks in PCB in Class XII.

The MBA programme at NIIT University is an innovative programme with
several unique features.

8. Dual Degree Course
NU offers two dual-degree programmes that let you acquire a B.Tech and an
M.Tech or M.S. degree in 5 years instead of the customary six years.

NIIT University (NU) invites application for its Ph.D Programme. Ph.D.
applicants can belong to any of the following categories:
a) Without experience
b) With experience
c) Candidates employed and sponsored by industry/organization
I. Last Date for submission of filled-in application form to the Dean,
Research of the University
II. Entrance Test for all eligible will be held at NIIT University, Neemrana only.
III. Candidates who have qualified UGC NET and/or GATE etc. will be
exempted from the Entrance Test of the University. However, all such
candidates will have to face an interview to be conducted by the faculty
of the research discipline of the University.
