Assisted Living
with the emphasis
on — Living
“Mom needed more and
more support. Dad was her
primary caregiver, and the
strain was really wearing
him down. We explored
many options and decided
that Youville offered the
best solution for them both.
Mom could have access to
the support she needed,
and dad could participate
in activities and programs
that would enrich his
quality of life. The staff
and the resident commu-
nity were welcoming and
gracious. We lost mom
last year. What a relief
it was to know that dad
was in such a supportive
environment while going
through that loss.”

When should you consider assisted living?
The decision to leave the family home and move to assisted
living can be a very difficult and emotional one. Many
times this important decision is made during a time of crisis.
Choosing a community and having control over the move
is always a better option. Research and planning can help
residents and their families make a smooth transition. When
researching living options, important deciding factors may
include proximity to family and friends, cost, the types of services
available, and the warmth and friendliness of the residents.
Maintaining a high quality of life
Youville Assisted Living communities are wonderful options for seniors
who wish to stay as active and independent as possible, while having
access to needed services and support. Youville offers residents a warm,
caring community and socialization that is built into the everyday
experience. Residents maintain their privacy and have opportunities to
pursue independent activities. Small pets are welcome.
Get Fit. Stay Sharp. Age Well.©

specific to each resident’s needs, while preserving each person’s dignity and privacy.
“Initially, we didn’t consider
Youville because we are not
Catholic. When we visited
though, it was clear that the
values-based philosophy of
care and compassion was
the foundation of a warm,
welcoming community. I
would recommend Youville
to anyone.”

Youville Place
“My mother was already in
an assisted living residence
when a friend’s mother
moved to Youville. She
raved about the programs
and the community, and
how wonderful the staff
was. I was jealous — my
mother was not getting that
kind of social stimulation,
and we didn’t feel embraced
by the community. I visited
Youville and the difference
was night and day! We
moved my mother. I am
so grateful to the staff for
their support, and the
experience she had while
she was there.”
