•Immune system plays a very vital role in protecting
the host(human body) from pathogenic attack(bacteria,
viruses, fungi, parasites).
•Considering the current COVID 19 pandemic, presently
there is no any cure or treatment hence in this
situation it becomes very important to focus on
prevention and management plans.
•Therefore one of the most simplest and efficient way
to combat the situation is to boost immunity by taking
proper nutritional diet and to take some immuno
modulators like Vitamin A,B,C and E and some trace
elements like zinc and selenium specially in individuals
with compromised or depleted immune system.
ABSTRACT
•COVID 19 diseases has spread in over 210 countries
and has caused about 0.15 million deaths globally.
•As currently there is no cure or treatment then
prevention and management becomes very essential.
•Prevention is the best tool which is useful in this
current situation.
•And one of the excellent way through which
prevention can be done is boosting immunity and
increasing the intake of more healthier food.
•The more the stronger immunity of a person the less
possibility of occurrence of COVID 19
INTRODUCTION
•Various systematic search strategies were done to
evaluate the effect of immuno modulators on
prevention of COVID 19
•Vitamins and various supplements showed a
beneficial impact on the immune system
•Majorly in patients with Diabetes, Obesity ,Heart
disorders, geriatric and pediatric personnel which are
more susceptible to COVID 19 there a great need of
immunity boosters as in this patients the immunity is
compromised to a greater extent
•Supplements and vitamins have a greater impact on
immunity and can act as a preventive measure against
the virus
DESCRIPTION
•Proper intake of vitamins, minerals and supplements
can lower the risk of COVID 19
•A perfect balanced diet including food with greater
nutritional value can surely enhance immunity and act
as a preventive measure against the current pandemic
situation
•Increasing the intake of citrus fruits such as lemon,
orange and sweet lime can provide vitamin C and boost
immunity.
DISCUSSION
•Seeing the severity of COVID 19 and no cure available
currently one thing that can lessen the risk is strong
immunity.
•In order to be safe and free of fatal viral infection like
COVID 19 it is the need of the hour that we take proper
supplements and vitamins and safe guard ourselves.
•It has been observed that people with strong
immunity do get recovered as compared to the ones
with lack of immunity

RESULTS•If we see the history ,it has been a challenging task to
control a viral pandemic because virus is made up of tiny
strands of tightly wounded genetic material called RNA.
•Like in case of COVID 19 the RNA is encapsulated by
proteins and hence its very hard to break the viral
structure of COVID 19 and kill it
•Currently the COVID 19 pandemic has been hitting the
world so hard and still there is no effective cure or
treatment available.
•Now there remains only one way through which the
human race can combat the virus is PREVENTION.
•Prevention in this situation can be done by strengthening
the immune system by various ways.
•The boosting of immunity can be done by increasing the
intake of vitamins such as vitamin A,B,C and E.
•Also intake of trace elements such as Zinc and Selenium
Sulphide can enhance the immunity.
• Nutraceuticals and Probiotics are also gaining a lot of
importance in improvising immunity.
•It has been proved that individuals with strong immunity
are less prone to COVID 19 as compared to individuals
with depleted or compromised immune system
