2. The Shelby Mustang is a higher performance variant of
the Ford Mustang which was built by Shelby from 1965 to
1968, and from 1969 to 1970 by Ford. Following the
introduction of the fifth generation Ford Mustang, the Shelby
nameplate was revived in 2007 for new high performance
versions of the Mustang but this time designed and built by
Ford at its assembly plants.
The first Mustang was introduced in 1964 by Ford Motor Co.
and was available with several different engines and body
variations
Ford wanted to make an automobile with the practicality of
everyday use, but with the excitement of a muscle car.
These new automobiles would be forever coined as “Pony
Cars”
1967 saw the first major change in the Mustang as it received
more muscle car design cues and the performance enhanced
Shelby GT350 was available

9. Ford just unveiled the new Mustang Shelby GT350, a
ferocious-looking, track-focused thing with all-new adaptive
dampers, giant brakes, and Ford’s first-ever flat-crank V-8
engine.
The GT350 is more track focused than the GT500, and was
bench marked against the Camaro Z28, Porsche GT3, and
BMW M4. The 2016 Mustang has an impressive array of
