QuantoAgro began its journey with the humble task of farming Lemongrass on a mere 24 acres of land in 2018. Since then, we have made significant strides and now cover a vast expanse of over 750 acres of land, which includes other perennial grasses such as Citronella, Palmarosa, and Jamarosa. However, we do not intend to stop there as our ambitious plan is to manage 3500 acres of land by 2025, establishing ourselves as leaders in the sustainable farming of aromatic crops.
Our commitment to sustainability extends beyond expanding our operations. At QuantoAgro, we strive to educate farmers on the benefits and applications of Lemongrass, promote sustainable farming practices, and encourage holistic engagement in farming communities. Presently, we work directly with 160 farmers, but we aim to partner with 3000 farmers by 2025, creating a network of like-minded individuals dedicated to sustainable agriculture.
In 2019, we installed our first distillation unit for extracting essential oils, which was followed by a second plant in 2021. Furthermore, our zero-waste approach is something that we are exceptionally proud of. We have implemented several circular economy initiatives that enable us to reuse 3,000 MT of farm waste. We have set our sights on reusing a staggering 76,400 MT of farm waste by 2025. Our approach is not only eco-friendly but also helps to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
