2. 1. Background
a. Company History
DevGro started as an idea in 2014 to improve on service delivery in the Construction
and Maintenance sector. A team of qualified trade’s men was sourced and the
importance of service and quality of work became our main focus. The company was
registered in July 2014.
Both directors come from different service delivery backgrounds and understand that this
is key in developing and growing any brand but mainly to provide service the client
deserves.
b. What we do
Our Project management and construction teams will mainly focus on new development,
additions and renovations. Maintenance also forms part of our day to day operation and
any plumbing and electrical problem can be resolved.

service delivery regardless. With satisfied consumers we will become a leading name in

It’s our mission at DevGro Construction to provide our clients with excellent service with
all their building,construction and maintance issues. Our skilled and experienced staff
will provide them with professional and efficient problem solving.

DevGro plans to include more construction teams in the near future. This will increase
our market substantially and increase the man power in the company to perform at its
best. The main objective is to have a full force team to assist with all construction and
trade issues. This will eliminate multiple contractors and high costs on quotes.

DevGro will focus on expanding their work areas. Dedicated teams will be available for
different skill sets and ultimately the company will have multiple departments to assist
with any issue.

a. Directors
Hein De Villiers has been in the client service industry for the past 9 years. For the last 4
year he has been part of various market leading insurance companies. In 2011 he joined
an assist call centre and was in charge of contracting service providers. His main
objective was to get reputable contractors to assist a large client base in the insurance
industry. In 2013 he pursued his career in client service and dealt with various insurance
clients and issues.
Carel Grove started in the restaurant industry in 2006, he managed a team of 50+ staff
members and over seed his store to provide the best possible quality and service. In
2008 he joined a leading fast food franchise as an area manager. Customer service and
quality training was key objective to run all 7 of his stores to provide clients with the top
standards and quality.
