• Exceptional Stability – The structured Ryn AIR TUNNEL
system provides cushioning at impact without sacrificing
stability. The shoe drives straight ahead without caving in
or rolling out. Unlike many other brands in the category,
Ryn has no soft, collapsing memory foam, thus yielding
much better stability, gait control and foot-strike guidance.
• 45/35 Degree Rocker – The rocker challenges major
muscle groups more than other rocker sole shoes. Other
brands have no more than a 30 degree rocker on their
most aggressive models.
• Arch Stimulation – A slight “arch hump” pleasantly
stimulates the arch as your foot passes through the gait

27. • Selling RYN footwear should be very easy,
especially if you have experience selling other
rocker sole shoes. When your shoes arrive, we
suggest…
– Adopting an aggressive “product launch” mindset.
– Bringing out a pair of RYN shoes for every
customer looking for a comfortable walking shoe,
dress shoe or sandal. Let them experience the
feeling. Many will buy.
28. Explain how people will “feel” when
they wear RYN.
• Notice the better balance, stability and control as you walk in
the shoes.
• Feel the immediate pressure relief on your heels and the balls
of your feet.
• Notice that your arches are being pleasantly “massaged” as
you walk.
• Your posture will be improved and you will notice that your calf
muscles, hamstrings and glutes are getting more work.

29. When you lace up the shoes, make
sure you have a nice, secure fit.
• Check the toes and make sure the heels aren’t
slipping. If they have never worn rocker sole shoes,
have your customer roll the shoes back and forth
while standing
• Let them become familiar
with the motion of the shoe.
30. When they stand up, get them walking
• Their posture will improve immediately (Point
that out)
• Ask them to avoid looking down at their shoes
when they walk.
• Get them to stand tall, pick up the pace and take
a good, deliberate walk around the store. The
faster they walk, the more “normal” the shoe will
start to feel.
31. Ask the customer for feedback.
• Ask questions like:
– ”Do you notice that your heels and the balls of your feet
feel like they’re floating off the ground? Those are the
two parts of your feet that take the biggest pounding
when you wear regular shoes on concrete. Do you feel
the support coming up into your arches?”
– “As you walk in the RYN shoes do you feel your arches
getting massaged?”
– “Did you notice how easy it is to maintain good
posture?”
– As you walk rock back and forth in the shoes, can you
feel your calf muscles working more?
– “Can you feel how stable the shoe is? Do you notice that
it is a little bit harder to roll in or out as you walk?”
32. As the customers answer “yes” to each of these
questions, the value of the shoe is far exceeding the price.
