AmIcook is a project that aims to help students in campus dormitories organize meals more efficiently using IoT technology. It dispenses the right amounts of pasta and water, computes the optimal cooking time, creates a poll to organize meals, and turns the stove on and off using sensors and an Android app to reduce waste of time, food, water and energy from disorganized meal planning. The system uses an Arduino Uno, heat/ultrasound sensor, servomotor, Z-Wave smart plug and Android app.
