Keoladeo National Park is a man-made wetland and former duck hunting ground located in India that was established in 1982. It is home to 366 bird species and 379 floral species across its 2,873 hectares. The wetland was created over 250 years ago but was used as a duck hunting ground until 1972, when it became a protected area. It features diverse habitats including wetlands, grasslands, woodlands and uplands and contains microhabitats like trees, mounds and open water. The park is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its significant biodiversity.
