The University of Texas at Austin has approved "University Veterans Association" as a registered student organization. As a registered student organization, it is entitled to certain services from the university including the use of campus facilities, conducting fundraisers, and advertising events in the student newspaper. The Campus Activities Office will provide support services to assist with programming, reserving facilities, banking, and leadership training courses.

CONGRATULATIONS! "University Veterans Association" has been approved as
a registered student organization. Your status as a registered student organization
entitles you to certain services available at The University of Texas at Austin. Along
with the use of these services come several responsibilities which are outlined in
Chapters Six and Ten of Appendix C of the General lnformation bulletin, entitled
"lnstitutional Rules on Student Services and Activities" and in the Handbook for
Registered Student Organizations. Both of these publications are available in the
Campus Activities Office (UNB 4.304).
As a registered student organization, you will be able to utilize campus facilities,
sponsor rallies, conduct fund-raisers, and publicize your evenls in The Daily Texan .
ln addition, the Campus Activities Office staff will be available to assist you with your
program planning needs. The support services available through our office range
from consultation in organization development and leadership training to reserving
University facilities and providing a banking service. The Campus Activities Office also
sponsors a series of one-hour credited leadership courses through the Educational
Psychology De partment.
