2. New Coursera
Today is the time of global internetization and mobilization,
at the same time speed of life increases. The trend is such
that people are getting more resistant to usual means of
education which were used for years. In addition, they do not
want to spend much time sitting in a classroom.
People need interactive, fun and time-efficient type of
studying.

3. That is why we thought about a promotional strategy for SBMT which
can both help the School to reach the customers who do not have enough
time and inspiration for formal education, but want to become a high-
rank specialists in the area of business.
What we want to offer SBMT is to start a platform of online educational
courses, just like Coursera. They shouldn’t be only about getting the full
degree, but rather about smaller courses of relevant and interesting
topics regarding business theme. After passing a course, a person can get
a certificate that proves his successful studies at SBMT Online.

– Online courses both for full-degree studies and short-term courses
under a narrow business topic each
– Interactive online classes and tests, video materials, creative
assignments and constant feedback
– Certification after successful completing a course
– Communication platform, where you can connect to supervisors and
mates to discuss anything related to studies
– Home tasks are checked by professional supervisors and are
supported with sound feedback

– Planned schedule of online classes, so that a person can plan on his
time
– Materials hosted on the server for future reference, and if needed the
course can be repeated without a need to film the lectures or create a
test again
– Possibility to monetize on the service through providing paid courses
of sending paper verifications
– Global market entrance as online there are no borders and distances
between people

6. – The quality of courses offered must be good, otherwise there is no use
of posting them. If the quality does not match the market standard –
you put a spot on the School’s brand name and reputation
– There is a need to develop study programs for each new course, so
that they fit modern demand and requirements remaining
understandable and interesting
– Hosting is an issue as well because quite a considerable amount of
data has to be processed and stored there. In addition, the service
should be reachable from everywhere any time

7. – Home tasks should be checked appropriately and on time by the
people who have enough knowledge and expertize in the field
– Supervisors have to speak good English to be able to work with
international audience
– Costs are not little, so as an option, we can start even at Coursera to
see the reaction of publics

8. – Develop a trial course on some interesting business topic
– Film lectures, create interactive assignments, find understandable
materials
– Develop a system of evaluation and a schedule of studies
– Post the trial course on Coursera or SBMT Online
– Direct students during the course, motivate and monitor them, check
the assignments and provide fair and helpful feedback
– Evaluate students and send them certificates
