An effective project review should not be an onerous exercise that
makes the project manager feel like they are being attacked.
When conducted regularly, there should rarely be any ‘surprises’
that the reviewer is discovering for the first time.
The formal review meeting should be seen as a focused health
check for the project and as a refresher to the PM on the
conversations they should be having with their team.
