Participation in management
tours is a unique opportunity to
find out the real reason behind
success. Understanding the origins
of success comes from monitoring,
analysis, and communication
with top managers wholay the
foundations for a company’s future.
Innovation, technology, working
principles, and the people – these
are four main elements we are
focusing on when drawing up the
tour program.
Corporate Tours
• The tour program is based entirely on the customer’s
requirements and the company’s key strategic development
objectives.
• The program is approved by the client company.
• There is an option of integrating internal management and
innovation sessions into the program. If such an option is
taken, FastForward invites a facilitator, a representative of
a top business-school, or a business guru to hold internal
sessions in between visits to companies.
• Number of participants: 15-20 representatives of one company.
Open Tours
• The tour program is based on an in-depth study of the
achievements and strengths of the successful companies
included in the program.
• FastForward selects case meetings and visits to operation
facilities and offers them to potential participants.
• The number of participants: 15-20 representatives of different
companies.

3. • Top managers have read all the business bestsellers
long ago. Now, managers want to gain practical
knowledge, and in order to do that they have tolisten,
watch, touch, and understand things first hand.
• Traditional business education can offer merely an
overall view of business. It is only a practical study
of successful business that can yield a real hands-on
expertise straight from the source.
• Management tour is an ideal way to observe
a potential partner’s work and to see which
innovations are worthy of attention and which are
a waste of time and effort.
• This is the best way to motivate and develop your
company’s talents, to strengthenloyalty, and to mould
an innovative way of thinking.
• Each visit sparkles innovative breakthrough
ideas which will help your company work out
a development strategy for the next few years.

Feedback
Sergey Maglyui, Incom Corporation:
«During this visit, which was really unconventional for traditional
Ukrainian business, my colleagues and Ilearned alot thanks to
Western businessleaders sharing their experience in IT business
management. I am sure this new knowledge will prove useful in the
future».
Ernst & Young Company:
«It’s worth mentioning that the management tour proved useful
for all the participants. We had a chance to see the inside of
Silicon Valley’s top companies andlearn much about their business
management plans. We were very interested in said companies’
anticipations concerning the development of hi-tech industry and
the so-called “new” information economy».
I-FREE Company:
«The meetings with the Japanese telecommunication companies’
representatives were especially useful, interesting and productive.
They allowed us tolearn business models and new technologies
presen on the Japanese market. The business tour was eventful and
gave us alot of ideas which will be helpful in developing the exist-
ing approaches to our business and implementing new projects».
Oleg Borisevich, Belprime:
«Imagine that you open a new world to many people .
You know, there is an anecdote about an aborigine who has never
seen civilization. Helived on the river bank and spent his time
fishing. Once, he was brought to the modern New York. After
2 weeks in New York, he was asked what had impressed him the
most. The aborigine didn’t mention skyscrapers, or the subway, or
transport. He answered that «most of all he was impressed by the
big and good boats: it must be great to go fishing in such a boat».
What I’m trying to say is that it’s very difficult go beyond the
limits of your world. Your brain simply doesn’t notice and ignores
something you have never experienced before. In the modern
age of globalization and the Internet, it is such trips that widely
expand the borders of one’s understanding of work, business, and
life. Apart from the planned meetings of the tour program, the
communication with people who participate in this tour is also very
important. Such communication islike “bringing the aborigine to
New York», since everyone has his or her own approaches, perks,
contacts, ways to crack the problems, etc.»
