Under Floor Heater Mat System
With the room operating at potentially -10C a under
floor heater mat system is required.
Electrical system utilising 2.64mm stainless trace wire
system, temperature sensing probes linked to self
contained control panel with signal display and volt
free contact to signal any faults which can be relayed
to the on site BMS.
Recommended back up systems:
At Minimum 100% back up on temperature probes.
Back up trace heat elements ( should be considered)
Back up control panel(Not Critical).
Heater Mat System to be covered with a 50mm wet
sand & cement screed in order to protect the heater
mat system.
Under Vapor Barrier
1000g visqueen vapour barrier
Continuity of vapour barrier system underneath the
wall panels is critical element of the
construction. Integrity of vapour sealing with
overlapping joints is also a critical element of the
construction.
Recommended back up systems:

Structural engineer shall evaluate depending on the design loadings for
the finished floor.
Finished Floor Slab
Prior to this being poured a slip membrane should be installed over
the floor insulation.
Finished floor slab shall be to structural engineers detail and
requirements.
Pressure Release Valves
Type Proposed : Fermod 2230.
Quantity required shall be calculated with reference to the
manufacturers formula for determination.
