Corypha has a thick trunk and massive fan
shaped leaves. A fully mature palm has a
height of 25m.
After the flowers have set into fruits, the tree
dies.
19. Most species of corypha grow very slow.
They grow well in tropical regions.
They require full sun and well drained soil to
survive.
Their leaves are used for thatching.
Stems are used for paper making and rope making.
