PROFILE
I’m actually employed as Procurement manager for Morelli’s Gelato where I’m managing almost
one million worth of order per year from only one supplier. Also, is my responsibility to follow the
ordering process for all 14 stores around the world and across 11 countries. Twice a year I’m
busy as Auditor for the post opening programmed audits, especially for the Middle East and as
trainer for new opening stores of the brand. To maximise the profit without compromising the
quality I’m also constantly doing research of new product and suppliers. When a new store is due
to be opened I’m normally preparing costing for it checking local supplier and resources. Recently
I’m also involved in new project business, development and store design.
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS
• From September 2014 working on the next opening of the Morelli’s Gelato store, based in
central London ( Covent Garden). Purchasing every item required for the opening:
equipment, shopfit, decoration, furniture, ingredients. Also involved in marketing
preparing costings and menu, staffing and approval from CVG mall management.
• March 2014, after a long project for the opening of a Morelli’s Gelato store in Georgia and
after sorting all custom clearance issues I have spent more than ten days in Tbilisi,
providing preopening training, following the VIP event and routine working days after the
opening day.
• March 2014, opening of the second Morelli’s Gelato store based in Dubai, following the
last steps of the shopfit and sorting issues with the Gelato machine that came out on the
last minute. Contacting main supplier in Italy to understand possibly causes of the
malfunctioning machine I’ve than managed to fix the machine with the support of local
technician saving money of local partner (Gourmet Gulf Co.) preventing the call of
external technician.
• 2012, 2013 and beginning of 2014, Named as consultant for the store in Harrods.
Assistance in store, supporting all monthly order from Italy and providing special sundae
and flavours for every event in Harrods.
