PayPal volunteers from coached middle school students from Bogota Middle School in New Jersey in a business case challenge competition hosted by SuitUp. Students were split into teams and tasked with creating a new feature for PayPal to support women-owned businesses. The winning team, called "Her Story", pitched their idea to judges. Based on student feedback, 87% said the competition influenced their career interests, such as business, education, fashion, finance, and more. Both students and volunteers felt they gained skills and had a positive experience. SuitUp aims to continue hosting these events to help more students explore careers.

Business Case Challenge
Through SuitUp, volunteers from PayPal and students from Bogota Middle School participated
in a SuitUp business competition in which they created a new feature for PayPal that supports
women-owned businesses. Volunteers coached students in various departments before
helping them pitch to judges for a cash prize.

their future career choice. 87% of students said that engaging with the
volunteers influenced their career choice and now they can see themselves
