Stan 00-600, Def-Stan 00-40/42 and a thorough working knowledge of all other ILS specifications and
standards. Possessing excellent communication and written skills. Articulate with the ability to
communicate ideas effectively to a broad cross section of professionals. A hard working well

October 2016 – Present – RCM/ILS Engineer at Drumgrange Portland.
 Carrying out RCM and Availability calculations for new MoD contracts. Producing ARM reports,
Conducting FMEA and producing reports, Conducting LORA and producing reports, all DEF
Stan 00-600 element analysis and reports. Carrying out spares calculations and producing
DEFCON 82 spares lists.
 Production of AESPs for new MoD contract.
May 2005 to October 2016 – GP Strategies. Which has encompassed the following projects and roles:
 Lead technical author/engineer on EH101 helicopter technical publications and illustrated parts
catalogue projects. Responsible to the programme director for the timely delivery of hard copy
and IETP deliverables. Responsible for the technical content of all output and the running of
projects within set financial budgets.
 Production of wiring diagrams and technical illustrations.
 Production of data modules and illustrated parts catalogue figures for Cobham Mission Systems
on a variety of projects including the A400M tanker project.
 Population of the Eagle LSAR database DEDs for various aerospace projects.
 Production and management of Illustrated parts databases on a variety of projects across the
Ministry of Defence and the commercial sector.
 Technical author on a wide variety of aerospace projects including, EH101, Seaking, Lynx and
Chinook helicopters and various army and commercial ground equipment/vehicle projects.
 Working within a ILOG/EPS environment to produce data modules and Illustrated part
catalogue figures for a variety of international customers.
 Senior technical author, producing flight crew manuals for an extensive array of Ministry of
Defence and commercial end users.
July 1995 to May 2005 – Royal Navy. Employed as a Royal Navy Engineering Artificer (Radio/Radar)
on a variety of communications, radar (both Primary and Secondary) and Sonics systems. Conducting
fault diagnosis and rectification at first and second line maintenance facilities.

of VHF/UHF/HF and SHF shipborne radio systems.
