PROFILE
I am an adaptable, qualified Aircraft Systems Technical Engineer /Technical Author with
excellent analytical and writing skills. Articulate and affable with the ability to communicate
ideas effectively at all levels to a cross section of professionals. I am a hard working well
organised person with the ability to produce excellent working standards under pressure and
to meet constantly changing circumstances. I am a good team member who is reliable, honest
and resourceful with a flexible approach to changes in task requirements and who is also used
to working in un-supervised situations.

Flight Manual, (Done in word and illustrations using Isodraw)), AFM
(Aircraft Fight Manual) Service Bulletins and AMM (Aircraft Maintenance
Manual) for NH90 Helicopter. Working with Epic SGML Data modules and
Simplified English. Helping the flight test department with flight test reports
and flight test cards.
Competent with MS office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Using
information from engineering drawings to write and incorporate Modification
Leaflets and Service Bulletins into the relevant Air Publications. Proof reading
and editing the completed manuals.

Work consisted of updating and improving the following: MRBR
(Maintenance Review Board Report), MPD (Maintenance Planning
Documents) Component Maintenance Manual (CMM) LUMP (Low
Utilization Maintenance Program) MSG-3 Analysis (Maintenance Steering
Group Analysis Rev.3) and writing maintenance procedures for the AMM
(Aircraft Maintenance Manual). AECMA 100D Simplified English was used
for some manuals and documentation.
As co-chairman for the ISC/MRBR group (Industrial steering
Committee/Maintenance / Review Board Report) planning and conducting
ISC/MRBR meetings for Swedish and American Aircraft authorities for both
Saab 340 and Saab 2000.
When Saab 340 was converted for military use (AEW) some vendors followed
AECMA S1000D specification for their data modules. Then this was converted
to ATA 100-20003.5 and ATA 21000. (AECMA 1000D is very similar to
ATA 100-20003.5 and ATA 21000.)
Saab 340 and Saab 2000 manuals used JMIS (CD Rom) and e-space digital
delivery system (Web based browser system).
Saab Jas Gripen followed AECMA S1000D issue 2 for their documentation
and publications (Export Aircraft). As our department helped with their
publications, we had to have knowledge in AECMA S1000D issue 2
specifications and have had for many years. All manuals where done in
Interleaf 6 and Quicksilver.
1994-1997 Flight Test.
Flight Test Leader for Saab 2000 aircraft. Planning and coordinating and
taking part in flight-test for different modification on the Saab 2000 within
Sweden and abroad. Writing flight test cards and the AFM (Aircraft Flight
Manual) Writing test procedures and reports.
1988-1994 Product Support.
Service Engineer for Saab 340 and Saab 2000 mainly for structures and
interior. Work consisted of daily support to operators of Saab 2000 and 340
and AOG problems. Other duties were writing Structure/interior repair
statements, MSG-3 analysis Structures/Interiors (for aircraft certification),
writing service bulletins, planning repairs or modifications needed by operators
and assessing and writing reports on aircraft accidents. I was also Chairman for
MSG-3 Zonal Group for Saab 2000.

Worked on Gazelle, Lynx and Seaking Helicopters.
After my apprenticeship started in Experimental workshop working on the first
Lynx Helicopter. Then went into the flight test hanger on the first experimental
Lynx for approx 1 year.
Spent another year on Gazelle and Sea king flight line.
Last year at Westland’s was on flight test for the Lynx’s helicopters.
TRAINING:
1968-1972 Aircraft Technical Engineering Apprenticeship at Westland’s Helicopters,
England. Took City and Guilds Part 1 to 5 at Yeovil Technical Collage. Passed
with distinction.
First 6 months at Westland’s was on progress chasing, this was before starting
my apprenticeship. Part of the Apprenticeship was to work in all departments
within Westland’s, staying approx. 6 months in each.
