2. John 1
45 Philip found Nathanael and told him, “We
have found the one Moses wrote about in the
Law, and about whom the prophets also
wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”
46 “Nazareth! Can anything good come from
there?” Nathanael asked.“Come and see,”
said Philip.
3. John 1
47 When Jesus saw Nathanael approaching,
he said of him, “Here truly is an Israelite in
whom there is no deceit.”48 “How do you
know me?” Nathanael asked. Jesus answered,
“I saw you while you were still under the fig
tree before Philip called you.”
4. John 1
49 Then Nathanael declared, “Rabbi, you are
the Son of God; you are the king of Israel.”
5. Colossians 2
6 So then, just as you received Christ
Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives
in him, 7 rooted and built up in him,
strengthened in the faith as you were
taught, and overflowing with
thankfulness.
6. Colossians 2
8 See to it that no one takes you captive
through hollow and deceptive philosophy,
which depends on human tradition and
the elemental spiritual forces of this
world rather than on Christ.
7. Colossians 2
9 For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity
lives in bodily form, 10 and in Christ you
have been brought to fullness. He is the
head over every power and authority.
8. Colossians 2
16 Therefore do not let anyone judge you
by what you eat or drink, or with regard
to a religious festival, a New Moon
celebration or a Sabbath day. 17 These
are a shadow of the things that were to
come; the reality, however, is found in
Christ
9. Hebrews 1
1 In the past God spoke to our ancestors
through the prophets at many times and
in various ways, 2 but in these last days
he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he
appointed heir of all things, and through
whom also he made the universe.
10. Hebrews 1
3 The Son is the radiance of God’s glory
and the exact representation of his being,
sustaining all things by his powerful word.
After he had provided purification for
sins, he sat down at the right hand of the
Majesty in heaven.
