I am a competitive, driven, results oriented professional with over 10 years in the retail and marketing industry, 3 of which were at
management level. I pride myself in always meeting and exceeding my professional goals, as well as company expectations. I
prioritize the importance of proper clienteling, following up with my clients and creating that business/client relationship which fosters
future business, and have established myself as a beacon with my employers.
I also work with different talent agencies performing a variety of tasks depending on the vendor. Some of these are:
-Brand Ambassador
-Mascot Handler
-Promotional Model
-Sales and Promotion
-Auto Show Model
-Product Sampler
It is very important for me to learn as much as possible about the product or service that I am promoting or selling for a vendor in
order to effectively relay this message to consumers. I have a very engaging personality and hold no drawbacks when it comes to
approaching passerby’s or potentially interested consumers. Some of the events and roles I have worked this year are:
May 2016 – Gold’s Gym, Fontainebleau Hotel, Miami Beach FL – I worked at the tent of Gold’s Gym at the iHeart Radio Pool
party in Miami Beach where I engaged party goers to watch some of our fitness moves, passed out premiums and took pictures.
May 2016 – T-Mobile, various locations in Miami – I was Team Lead for a street team promoting several of T-Mobile’s new store
openings and/or new plans and offers.
April 2016 – Sam Edelman, Aventura Florida – I assisted with the opening of the store, both front and back of house;
merchandising, stock, sales.
April 2016 - Sarasota Film Festival, Sarasota Florida – I was a host and greeter
April 2016 – Stella McCartney, Bal Harbour Florida – I was a greeter and assisted with sales
March 2016 – Maison Margiela, Miami Florida – Host and greeter for launch of their newest handbag collection
March 2016 - UFC 196 in Las Vegas – I promoted UFC’s Fight Pass membership and enticed fans to sign up
March 2016 – Various Whole Food Locations in Miami and Naples – I merchandised items from the A2 Milk Company and
placed collateral throughout their assigned section
March 2016 – Ultra Music Festival – I worked with Red Bull giving away a variety of the energy enhanced refreshments
March 2016 – Key West Spring Break Promotion for Kenny Chesney’s new lines of Rum called Blue Chair - My team and I
visited several different hot spots and sampled out new rum as well as gave away free goodies.
February 2016 – South Beach Wine and Food Festival – I was the handler for the company’s, and main sponsor of the event,
mascot named “Frejolito”. We worked the children’s cookout events at Jungle Island on Watson Island, going around the event,
greeting kids, taking pictures with them, enticing them to “learn how to cook” at some of the cookout shows performed by the likes of
Chef Andrew Zimmern and Chef Eddie Jackson.
I will also include my professional resume below as to denote my experience in commissioned sales, management and hospitality.
Professional Background
Seasonal Sales Professional, Gucci November 2015 – March 2016
Miami, Florida
At our Gucci boutique I am responsible for ascertaining myself with the inspiration behind the collection of Gucci’s luxurious
handbags, wallets, pocketbooks, belts, scarves and backpacks. I fill myself with this knowledge in order to convey this story to clients
and enamor them with the idea of owning such unique pieces. I assist also with the merchandising of our inventory according to
company guidelines and always look prim and proper, proudly representing Gucci.
Marketing Intern, the Mandarin Oriental Hotel January 2015 – November 2015
Miami, Florida
As Marketing Intern at the Mandarin Oriental Miami I assist the Marketing Director with scoping out new markets to promote our
triple 5 star hotel. I use tools such as social media, local upscale magazines, local PR firms, attending mixers, et al, to raise awareness
of our presence in Miami to markets in South America specifically and detail our very distinguished triple star rating and what
benefits that entails to our guests, and what sets us apart from other 5 star hotels.
Front Desk Supervisor, Golds Gym March 2012 – December 2014
Orlando. Fl
At Golds Gym I was responsible for the day to day tasks of banking, inventory count, posting collateral around the facility, ensuring
front desk was stocked with towels for guests, addressing any client question regarding billing or membership inquiries, performing
collection calls to members whom were past due on their membership dues, as well as delegating these tasks to associates while I was
not on shift. I also created the bi-weekly front desk schedule and juggled call outs and vacation days.
Seasonal Men's Sales Associate, Saks Fifth Avenue October 2011 - January 2012
Bal Harbour, Florida
As a seasonal sales associate at Saks I assisted my fellow colleagues with delivering the Saks promise of excellent customer service. I
greeted walk in patrons and assisted in finding what they were looking for. I offered suggestions as to new trends and styles, as well as
always offered to open a Saks charge to all clients whom did not have one. I followed up with clients whom made substantial
purchases and ensured any phone or Internet order done through me was always fulfilled.
Men’s Ralph Lauren Specialist, Bloomingdales November 2006 - October 2011
Aventura, Florida
I was privileged to be an ambassador of the men’s Ralph Lauren collection at Bloomingdales. I conveyed the inspiration behind our
basic stock and seasonal collections to clients. I built a local and international client base by reaching out to new and prospective
clients and informing them of new arrivals, upcoming sales, and inviting them for pre-sale events. I maintained my client base by
following up with them after their purchases, getting to know their fashion preferences and building a more personable business
relationship. I would often receive referrals from them as well. I was one of the top producers not only in Ralph Lauren, but in
Bloomingdales as well, with annual sales of over $750,000 and opening an average of 25 store credit cards per quarter. I also assisted
in the maintenance of our shop by ensuring adequate stock levels and merchandising our product.
