Project: Equity Order Management System Strategic Future State Architecture Assessment
Duration: March 2015 – Present
Description: The client, Capital Group, is analyzing the current state architecture that supports the entire
global equity order management and compliance processes. The analysis includes a definition of all
business capabilities, a mapping of systems to processes in the overall value chain and a recommendation
of a path forward that includes a mix of buy/build/integrate best of breed solutions to support future state
requirements.
Mr. Mancini’s responsibilities include:
Provide subject matter expertise on Equity order management, compliance, portfolio
management, trading execution and allocation and integration with upstream and downstream

Project: OMS Implementation
Duration: March 2014 – March 2015
Description: As part of the Fixed Income Transformation Program, the client, Neuberger Berman,
implemented Blackrock Aladdin across their Investment Grade, High Yield and Multi-Manager books of
business. Aladdin replaced ThinkFolio and an internal, proprietary Portfolio and Order Management
system.
Mr. Mancini’s responsibilities included:
Provided subject matter expertise, analysis, requirements gathering, documentation and system
configuration of Aladdin (Green Package, Portfolio Construction, PRISM, AladdinView,
Portfolio Monitor, Dashboard) related to the portfolio management function including:

Description: The client, Vanguard, is planning, designing and implementing a Buy/Build/Integrate Best
of Breed future state architecture for the entire Equity Investment Group’s end to end global investment
platform. This includes a combination of third-party packages as well as custom development and
integration of a proprietary portfolio management system.
Mr. Mancini’s responsibilities include:

Project: OMS Implementation
Duration: November 2008 – January 2013
Description: The client, SwissRe Asset Management, is implementing Blackrock’s Aladdin order
management and trading application across all front, middle and back office business units located in
New York, London, Zurich and Bratislava. The main focus of the implementation is the client’s domestic
and international fixed-income asset management book of business. The implementation involves
installation and configuration of the Aladdin package as well as internally developed interfaces to the
client’s HiPortfolio accounting system and a variety of other proprietary and third-party applications.
3. Mr. Mancini’s responsibilities include:
Perform all business analysis tasks and produce deliverables including business process reviews
based on interviews with Portfolio Managers, trader and Operations personnel, application
landscape diagrams, use case diagrams, functional workflows, future state design documentation,
testing, training and user procedure documentation for the following functional areas:
o Bond Trade Capture, including ECN notices of execution (TradeWeb, Bloomberg,
VCON, BARX).
o Mortgage Backed securities processing, including trade capture, pair-offs, pool allocation,
rolls, Electronic Pool Notification.
o Derivatives processing, including trade capture, ISDA agreements, legal confirmation
processes, payments and Collateral management. Asset types included exchange traded
and OTC derivatives (CDS, IRS, TRS, CDX).
o Bond Processing, including OASYS and CTM matching and confirmation, SWIFT Trade

Description: The client, JP Morgan Investment Management, is analyzing their current state processes
and architecture around the end to end Equity Order lifecycle. This includes Portfolio Manager
Instructions to the Investment Assistants, communication with the Trading Desk, order creation, trading
via EMS and Compliance.
Mr. Mancini’s responsibilities include:

Description: The client, Bessemer Trust, is analyzing their current state processes and architecture
around the end to end lifecycle for non-traditional assets, including exchange traded derivatives, OTC
derivatives, FX, coins and precious Metals.

Duration: June 2010 – November 2010
Description: The client, BNY Mellon Private Wealth Management, is upgrading to Linedata’s LVTS
version 6.7.4. In addition to the upgrade, the client is providing enhancements related to the usability of
the application for all Private Wealth Portfolio Managers across the firm’s US offices. Enhancements
include simplification of LVTS views for all processes as well as increased functionality for order entry
and rebalancing.
Mr. Mancini’s responsibilities include:
Provide subject matter expertise on the LVTS application.
Perform end-user interviews with focus groups to gather all requirements.
Configure and implement views for the LVTS Appraisal, Manager Blotter, Order Preview,
Security Cross Reference, Compliance Detail and Order Preview functions.

Duration: July 2008 – December 2008
Description: The client, Angelo Gordon, is implementing Linedata’s LVTS version 6.6.5. The client is
moving all equity trading processes onto the LVTS platform and integrating LVTS with their existing
Beauchamp Fund Manager application. The client is also enhancing LVTS to accommodate post-trade
allocation rules per trading strategy.
Mr. Mancini’s responsibilities include:
Provide subject matter expertise on the LVTS application.
Perform testing.
Participate in enhancement design.
Conduct training for end-users to leverage existing functionality.
Project: OMS Implementation and Upgrade
Duration: July 2007 – March 2009
Description: The project has two main phases. Phase I - The client, JP Morgan Investment
Management, is migrating their trading functions from Linedata’s LVTS version to 6.3.7 to LVTS version
6.6.1a and 6.6.2. Phase II - The client is moving all compliance and portfolio management functions
from proprietary or third-party systems onto the LVTS platform. The LVTS application has over 50
custom applications that it will interface with for various functions. In addition to the OMS
Implementation and Upgrade, the client is also undertaking the following:
Interfacing OMS with EMS applications (FlexTrade and ITG-Triton).
Enhancing list trading capabilities.
5. Implementing real-time pricing feeds.
Extending rebalancing capabilities to accommodate 100/30/30 strategy as well as tax and risk
aware optimizations.
Moving all Post-Trade Compliance Rules from Charles River Compliance Master to Linedata
Compliance.

Mr. Mancini’s responsibilities include:
Provide Subject Matter expertise on the LVTS and Linedata Compliance applications as well as
the custom workflows to business users, the client’s internal QA and production support staff.

Project: OMS upgrade
Duration: October 2007 – October 2008
Description: The client, Bank of America’s Columbia Management Group, is upgrading their third-party
OMS (Linedata’s LVTS version 6.3.5 to LVTS version 6.6.1a.) The upgrade consists of two separate
instances. In addition, due to a major acquisition, the client is migrating several users from a proprietary
OMS application to LVTS.
Mr. Mancini’s responsibilities included:
Identifying pertinent workflows that would be impacted by the upgrade as well as identifying
workflows that can be improved by extending the use of LVTS or by enhancing the core
application.
Assist in testing phase for the Upgrade project.
Provide go-live and end user support for traders and portfolio managers in New York, Portland,
OR and Boston.
Develop workflow for Convertible Bond processing to capture bid/offers from various broker
dealers as well underlying security prices and delta between winning bid/offer and underlying
price.
Transition PMs from existing OMS to LVTS.
Establish international broker commissions and fee schedules to enable the client to trade in 22
foreign markets.
Project: OMS End User Training
Duration: - 2 months (June 2007 – August 2007)
Description: - The client, AllianceBernstein, was upgrading all users to a new version of a third-party
Order Management System (Client was migrating from Linedata’s Longview 2000 application to LVTS
version 6.5). The client had an aggressive time-line and needed to ensure all end users received proper
training before using the new version of the application.
6. Mr. Mancini’s responsibilities included:
Conducted training sessions for approximately 240 users located in New York, Chicago,
Cleveland, San Francisco, London, Sydney, Tokyo, Singapore, New Zealand and Hong Kong on
new functionality pertinent to workflows for trading, portfolio management, trade support,
compliance and data administration.
Created all training documentation including agendas, quick reference guides and documentation
highlighting workflow changes.
Organized training schedule and delivered all classes (classroom and Microsoft Live Meeting.)
Project: Evaluation of existing workflow to create and replicate orders
Duration: - 2 months (June 2007 – August 2007)
Description: The client, AllianceBernstein, was looking for opportunities to enhance their existing
workflows to make the order generation and execution process more efficient. The client utilized
Linedata’s LVTS application to generate and execute orders but also interfaced LVTS with Latent Zero’s
Sentinel application for pre-trade compliance.
Mr. Mancini’s responsibilities included:
Conducted several interviews with Portfolio managers, sleeve and sector managers and assistant
portfolio managers.
Provided client with recommendations to extend the current use of their third-party OMS (LVTS)
as well as their proprietary Portfolio, Tax and Risk optimization software to enhance order flow
and decrease time for order creation and execution.
PREVIOUS PROFFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Prior to consulting, Mr. Mancini worked for Mellon Financial Corporation (now BNY Mellon) in the
Private Wealth Management division. Mr. Mancini was primarily responsible for new development and
production support for applications (internal and third party) utilized by Private Wealth Managers,
traders, compliance and operations personnel. During his tenure, Mr. Mancini was the Product Manager
for the Longview Trading System (LVTS) as well as the Lead Business Analyst/Subject Matter Expert on
various OMS projects. LVTS was used by approximately 500 portfolio managers, traders and compliance
personnel across Mellon’s Private Wealth Management (PWM) organization. The organization consisted
of approximately 500 individuals managing approximately 42,000 accounts and over $100 Billion in
Assets under management in 28 regional locations. Mr. Mancini was actively involved in all phases of
the initial selection, implementation and on-going support of the LVTS application. Mr. Mancini led
strategic initiatives associated to Portfolio Management, Trading and Compliance in regard to the
company’s use of LVTS and other third party and proprietary tools.
Major Projects included:
OMS Vendor Selection - Mr. Mancini’s Roles, Responsibilities and tasks included:
Creation of initial RFI which was sent to twenty-three OMS Vendors. RFI included Mellon
specific requirements as well requirement priority weighting for all functional and technical
requirements for trading, portfolio management and compliance across multi-asset classes.
Compilation of RFI Scoring for all vendors who responded. The top 6 vendors were selected for

Worked closely with each vendor to ensure on-site demos were in-line with specific requirements
and Mellon specific workflows and data.
Assisted in creation of RFP in conjunction with Mellon’s internal sourcing department.
Participated in all aspects of final selection including contract negotiations, gap analysis to
determine functions that would need to be customized and implementation plans and resource
allocation for vendor staff.
OMS Vendor Implementation - Mr. Mancini’s Roles, Responsibilities and tasks included:
Lead Business Analyst/Subject Matter Expert responsible for creating detailed business
requirements, functional specifications and testing plans for all development (internal and third-
party) of custom applications that worked with LVTS as well as PM and Trader configurations
within the application to support Mellon specific workflows. This included development of a
multiple security rebalancing wizard that became part of the Core LVTS application. The wizard
was a joint effort between Mellon and Linedata to build out a Mellon specific tool that could also
be utilized by other Linedata clients.
Provided on-site training for all designated users across Mellon’s PWM organization.
Mr. Mancini was also involved in several smaller scale projects included Annual Mailings, Equity
Trading specific projects (Liquidnet, Pipeline, OASYS, Centralized Rebalancing, FIX Broker set up,
Commission Reporting), Enterprise Architecture Initiative, Client Reporting and the PC Upgrade Project.
Prior to working at Mellon, Mr. Mancini worked for Federated Investors, Inc. Mr. Mancini was
primarily responsible for new development and production support for applications (internal and third
party) utilized by the US Equity trading desk. Mr. Mancini was instrumental in the creation of several
interfaces with Federated’s proprietary OMS application including but not limited to electronic trading
platforms, OASYS and SWIFT messaging. Mr. Mancini was also heavily involved with a re-write of
Federated’s main client reporting application as well as a vendor selection project for a new OMS.
Other Projects included:
Project Manager – Liquidnet Trading application. Coordinated efforts from multiple
departments in Pittsburgh and New York. Communicated business requirements to development
and server staff. Worked with third party vendor, network and desktop support and end users to
ensure successful implementation. Developed scope, project budget and project plan.
Lead Business Analyst – OASYS TradeMatch. Primary customer relationship contact with
Federated’s equity settlement and trading desk. Customized inbound and outbound messages for
electronic communication with brokers. Coordinated all development efforts, testing, training
and support.
Lead Business Analyst – S.W.I.F.T. 15022 Upgrade. Designed and customized electronic
trade notification messages to custodians and record keepers according to S.W.I.F.T. standards.
Coordinated all testing and implementation between Federated and Custodian banks receiving
S.W.I.F.T. messages.
8. Lead Business Analyst – FINDERs Re-engineering. Developed use cases for initial re-
engineering efforts of one of Federated’s largest internal applications. Organized and participated
in vendor evaluations for reporting, business analytics and data warehousing software.
Lead Business Analyst – OMS Vendor Selection – Evaluation consisted of several third-party
OMS applications as well as analysis to determine if Federated’s proprietary OMS should be
discontinued.
