since social media took over; the customer is now entirely in control. A customer now has
the ability to easily look up websites, reviews, and get in contact with any business that they
would like. This can be a powerful tool for many business owners.

media?
While social media is a powerful tool for marketing, it can also cause many issues. For
example, false reviews can absolutely ruin a perfectly good business. One unhappy
customer can steer away an entire crowd if they take the time to look at the reviews. Also, a
customer may expect the same level of customer service that is offered on the phone or in
person on these social media platforms, which some may not be accustomed to yet. There is
no longer a need to look for a service locally, there are endless services that can be explored
digitally. This competition for digital space can also be frustrating.
6. How will social media continue to evolve?
Our world is constantly changing. Especially in the digital age, nothing will ever cease to
upgrade or update or change entirely. Businesses must be prepared for the slew of changes
coming their way when it comes to marketing. Social media will change, and business
owners should be prepared to offer new ways of customer service, explore new marketing,
and try many new things.
