2. FEMALE STEREOTYPE
Our film, Requiem, includes the female stereotype in horror films, a female getting possessed,
and the also a female dies as well, however killed by another girl. Examples of this are films
like The Grudge, The Ring, The Entity and The Exorcist.

3. DETECTIVE-MALE POWER BALANCE
Also in our film, there is a balance of power in the detective scene. There is a detective
standing over the other, as the camera always looks down at the kneeling detective with a
high angle shot showing the lack of power, and a low angle shot looking up at the dominant,
standing detective.
