The audience react with shock because often Psychological Thrillers have
very unexpected twists, for example, in the move The Sixth Sense, we
only find out at the end that the guy was actually dead throughout the
whole movie.

shows how it really affects the audience after they watch it, which is why
the audience really enjoy watching as it gave them a new perspective on
life.

REAR WINDOW. In this Alfred Hitchcock film, Jeff is driving
himself crazy with boredom, laid up in his apartment with a broken
leg, and only a pair of binoculars to keep him occupied. Jeff becomes
obsessed with spying on his neighbours. He’s soon convinced that
something is amiss at a nearby apartment which brings Rear Window
to its nail-biting conclusion.
