3. Background Image
• It shows a corner of a bigger space which can be a living room or a
library.
• The large windows promote mid century styling, as the day light is
used to lighten up room. A more minimal styled chandelier is used
for dramatic lighting during night time. A sleek standing lamp to
light up the corner and the book shelves.

places under an approximately chest leveled shelves, which I think
is really modern way of placing books rather than typical large
vertical shelves . Its also feasible for a home with children that

used in such space. I think usage of such colors really makes the
mid century and minimalist style stand put and bring out into the
circle of modern interior.

think this is the best way of conveying a story of interior
design as every single characteristic matters and makes the
outcome more fascinating. The more variety in the input
leads to the more compelling output. For a reader I think it
is very positive step to take displaying variety of options.
The variation opens up the options to create such a look
within one’s budget.
The whole color story conveys an idea of a very cool and
simplistic sensation as this could be convenient for summers
and winters as the same time.
The placement of the materials makes it seem more
formal. It resembles an abstract painting with vertical
horizontal left right up down placement. In this way contrast

think it is a very convenient way because sometimes
magazine display such things but people get confused
by where to buy them from or incorporate them into
their own personal style.

this the materials, textures and color are more visible

metals which I think is a great idea of adding a

8. This page entirely displays an advertisement of an
exhibition of home accessories and furniture. The sample
picture is shown cropped like an arrow from the bottom.
More of warm colors, like brown, is used which suggests
the idea of autumn as written below. On the left he
company’s logo and name is given and the word autumn is
again written in brown under which the fair’s date is
written. Opposite to it numbers are given to describe and
attract reader’s attentions. Under it the available items are
written such as the ‘textiles’. In the middle below contact
information, sponsors and company’s information is given.
I think it is a positive step so that an interested person can
immediately react and give a positive response. This may
be like a whole sale or flee market with lots of open
options or on the other hand a formal event of exhibition. I
think that it would have been better if the location was
also stated clearly beside or under the dates.
