3. 1.Introduction
• Green energy defines the set of renewable and non-polluting energy
sources.
• Through renewable energy sources, consumers support the
development of clean energies that reduce the environmental impact
associated with conventional energy generation and increase energy
independence.

4. 2. Material and method
wind energy
• Wind power at first was transformed into
mechanical energy, being used as a mean of
propulsion on water for various craft and
later as energy for windmills.
• The first windmill that used to produce
electricity was built in Scotland.

5. 3. Results and discussions
In Romania, five geographical areas (0 - IV) were
identified, differentiated according to the measured
energy flow.

6. 3. Photovoltaic energy
Advantages
• Photovoltaic energy is a renewable energy source produced directly by
light and solar radiation.
• The production of solar energy does not create noise pollution on the
environment.
Disadvantages
• Relatively limited energy resource.
• During the night no solar energy is produced.

7. Wind energy
Advantages
• Wind energy production does not involve the production of any kind of waste.
• The zero emission of pollutants and greenhouse gases due to the fact that no
fuels are burned.
Disadvantages
• Relatively limited energy resource.
• Inconsistency due to variation in wind speed and reduced number of possible
locations.

9. • Green energy is an extremely good and clean
option compared to fossil fuels, in the future it is
desirable to increase the use of renewable
energy.
