Once upon a time, in a small town in the North, there was a woman whose face
reflects the soul’s face by itself, delicate chestnut hair that believes in faith. She
was well known as the woman who
sells candies and always glares
everyone with her blue eyes and
pureness.
Every Christmas the woman used to be in the same corner surrounded by candies,
and tiny buzzy bees around her that decorate her old, cold tatters. She was a
legend in town because even with the cold that surrounded her, the animals could
feel her warmth and approached to near the corner to join that delightful feeling. As
a result, her cheerful heart sings and the birds join the melody with her sweet
voice.
- “You know how to work!” She says to a bee.
But there was bee does not answer.
Fortunately, she had been a good day, so she could share her food with the
homeless animals that were with her the whole day.

One cold night, the sky was full of stars that shine and twinkle like little fireflies in
the sky. In the atmosphere, something rare was felt by the woman, a man walks
through the sidewalk, but the vibe that he transmits was terrible. Full of anger the
man hits a bin and a cat runs as fast as it can. Everything around the town was in
silence, just the breathing of that awful creature that cuts off the peaceful scenery
and the woman’s dream.
Everything around the town cover by snow, only the gray shadow of the building
and the white shine snow that was bathed to the moon’s light belong to that calm
night. An owl whispers a secret to the sky that the pretty lady was neat and shines,
but now that depends in the fox that has to care her up because Timothy, the fox,
was her only loyal friend.
Next day, a loud sound tingles in the lady’s ears those were the bees announcing
that morning was coming, so she jumped immediately without hesitating. When
she jumped, she did not notice a man while she felt down on the floor. Seconds
were like hour, snowflakes began to fall down too slowly, like pieces of heaven in
their arms, that special smell, a Christmas smell that can break even the most
confine memory, cypress.

This strange morning change Christmas because since moment every single day
was different. The bees do not buzz around the lady anymore, the old owl does not
whisper more secrets to the sky, and the fox, Timothy, and nobody knows anything
about him.
-“What do you think happens that morning?”
Asked the cat
But nobody answers.
The lady was not in the corner anymore, while birds and other animals migrate to
warmer places. People around the town feel that something was missing in town
because that Christmas was not the same. The corner was standing like waiting for
someone to help it found the strange and warmth hit that the woman irradiate.
Christmas soul was stole without her, everybody loses the cheerful feelings of
goodness, happiness, and kindness that he woman spreads up.
Some months passed and winter did not end.
One morning, dyed by gray for the cold and the loneliness that wanders around a
little baby boy born in town. It was an unexpected and unusual situation neither an
ant, nor a person saw where that baby came from. It was confusing and nobody
wanted to touch him, but at the first moment anybody saw him get charming. His
face was white as snow, his round blue eyes enthrall, his silky skin cover by a
strange dust provoke to hug him, even his little presence inspired sympathy
between people around him. This feeling disappear since the first moment; the
candy woman was gone in town.
-“What happens to the candy woman?””, someone asks
In that moment, a huge shadow arrived at town and the angry man of that cold
night appears damning to earth and heaven. He was the responsible for the

woman’s destiny; he was the only one in charge of Christmas soul because that
night she sold her soul while she was falling down and making her last breathe.
However, faith is always and someone’s heart and it allows the woman conceive
the purest love on Earth because she pardoned that man.
As a result, a seed was planted in her womb; this seed represents all the feelings
and desires that the woman had to town, animals, and everything that represents
life. However, the man heart was as stone, old and dry because time dried it and
hit it as much as it could. That man was the Christmas father that lost hope in
people around the world because this spirit was stolen the day her daughter
disappears.
Walking through the mountain, the man found an extraordinary gold nut. However,
something rare happens when he tried to take it, the nut was gone. What was the
surprise of the man when he lifted up his head, the nut appears a few steps ahead.
He began to walk quickly, but it always happen the same things, the nut gone away
before take it up. Just walking around, the man realizes that he was lost, and he
needs to find the path to town.
While he was walking around the forest, he began
to think that was almost night and he does not
have food or even an extra jersey to keep his
body warm. A few minutes later he saw a fox,
then the fox saw him; he was surprised because
the fox seemed like friendly and looked like it
wanted to follow him. The man began to follow
the fox until an old house in the mountain
appeared just in front of his eyes.
After that rare encounter, the man entered into the house, everything was confused
and cold. Walking around the lonely house; it had a huge table with beautiful
embroidered tablecloth, a lamp full of crystal that light the room with a sweet and
warm feeling of home. Pictures around the room were not clear, but they fill his

heart of joy without any reason. Finding a comfortable sofa that hugs him all night
long, he felt asleep.
Next morning, a warm feeling woke him up; it was Timothy, the fox that was
looking at him. The man carefully move his body trying not to scare the animal, but
his surprise was that the fox could talk, but not in a usual way, the man could feel
what the fox was trying to say. Some wild fruits were in the table and a blue jersey
too. He heard Timothy and took his breakfast without hesitate.
During the day, both the man and Timothy were together meeting each other
feelings. While the man was in the house and his feelings began to change,
everything else changed too. The house looked bigger, and everything change into
red and green with little lights around that room, a spirit began to grow inside hi,
pushing him. In shock, the man realized that while he was changing inside, the
house also changed and the pictures and the atmosphere that surrounded the
house was clear and neat. The pictures on the wall now were clear, there were a
man holding a beautiful baby girl in his arm, his daughter and him.
Hurrying up, the man tried to find Timothy to ask him how can he return to town,
but it was too late, he was gone.

Many days passed before the man was fully recovered, when the man open the
door that morning, the whole view was the different outside. The town was there all
the time, but his old and hard heart did not allow him to see even the things that
were in front of his eyes. That day was Christmas and he wants to obtain his wish.
Running downhill, the man realized all his feelings were growing inside of him:
happiness, kindness, goodness, and of course Love. Christmas’ hope was in him.
Arriving in town, he could saw his daughter in the same corner that she used to be,
holding the most beautiful baby in the world. When he arrived, he took her
daughter in his arms and asked for her forgiveness because he always refused
that she was his daughter, and at the moment the baby smiled and looked with his
big blue eyes full of joy. Definitely, it was the best Christmas night he could ever
had.
