Created processes and resolutions to address concerns staff brought forward regarding managers, physicians, and
co-workers to ensure a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment for patients and employees. Worked directly
with department staff and managers to resolve any conflicts.
Responsible for resolving performance challenges with staff, managers, and administration. Created performance
improvement processes to improve individual, departmental, and hospital-wide performance.
As Legal Counsel, worked with department managers to negotiate contracts, provided regulatory assistance to
meet regulatory requirements including CMS and Joint Commission, and responded to regulatory, governmental
and legal requests.
Member of Senior Management in both a legal and human resources capacity during a time of hospital system
expansion to over 500 employees and 4 cities. Worked directly with new managers, new employees, remote team

Worked closely with a team to recruit volunteers, train community/coalition leaders, and develop a community
base.
Worked at all level to build a grass roots team, including going door to door and to public spaces to find
volunteers, follow up with phone calls, texts and emails to turn interest into action, including hosting events at
private residences, religious institutions and other locations to increase voter turnout and campaign engagement.
Successfully created and trained volunteer group to continue work after the fellowship ended.
Created special project focusing on outreach to the St. Louis Muslim community, meeting directly with faith
leaders and community members that otherwise are overlooked by political campaigns.
